Maybe thats one of the things that could gain with V3, that new people get into the site and start appreciating it faster, generally speaking. I think, in general, that if someone makes an account in V3 , he will be more likely to start using the site or using it with more frequently than if someone makes an account in V2, then he will take more time to get involved with the site, since ,technologically speaking, V2 is more complicated to use than V3. But for other people its much better, for example, people that are better at computers can appreciate how easy and neat V3 is.
Maybe its unnecessary for you, and your not wrong (even tho maybe you can get used to V3, and see how better it is, but you can do whatever you fell more convenient for you, ofcourse). I agree with playing over 2000 games over 7 years on V2 it has become habit forming for me.I saw no problems with the old version.Why change?.The complete makeover was unnessary in my opinion. Maybe your used to V2 (and like many other users), thats why you say it has simplicity and is easy to navigate, but for a new person to or for a graphic designer, V3 has more simplicity, neatness and is easier to navigate. V2 is fun.has simplicity and is easy to navigate!.Once the mess of V3 becomes mandatory I will quit chess as well.No date yet when V2 is trashed.
